    Playa Dorada Golf Course is considered a masterpiece of legendary golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr., who designed more than 400 courses during his 70-year career around the world. Playa Dorada Golf Course was created in 1979, an 18-hole, par 72 course featuring 5 holes with ocean views.

    Vegetation varies along the course, with tall trees and wetlands, palm trees and grasses, from rough vegetation along the beach. The views are breathtaking, as this course wraps around the Trent Jones-style hotel areas. Located about 15 minutes from the international airport of Puerto Plata.
